First Model!

Well, I finally caved in and decided to build my own models and textures.  I searched all over for particular, and free, models and textures to use for Project Cuddles but couldn’t find anything that I was happy with.  Instead of complaining about it, I decided to just make the models and textures on my own.

I’m in no way an artist and this is actually my first attempt at building a model to use within a game.  So, please, do bare with me on how it looks.  If you have any pointers or suggestions feel free to comment or write a few posts.  Also, do keep in mind this is still a work in progress.

Massive Site Update

Where should I begin? I took the weekend to do a massive update on things and how everything works on this site.  As you all can tell, I have also changed to the look of the site.  I like this darker theme as I’ve always found themes like this one to be easier to read as opposed to mostly white themes.  I’ll go ahead and start listing out the updates

For this site:

  • Changed the theme and made edits to include ads.  I would rather not have the ads but the money could come in handy so they will have to stay for a while.
  • I changed the forum’s theme to closely match the new theme of the site.
  • I have created a projects page which lists out of my past, current, and future projects
  • I have also created a new flash games page which will make it easier to find all the games as time goes by.
  • I have enlisted in a few other free flash game sites to try and bring in more games.

  • I created a plugin to help even more in the automation process of the site, you can get more details on the project page.
  • I removed a few unused plugins
  • I have updated the SEO All In One Pack to version 1.4.5.9
